This is my Plymouth Barracuda: I am the 3rd owner of this car. I purchased it 1996. This car started its life on a farm in Fla. with Ivy Green paint, Green and Yellow Mod interior and Ivy Green vinyl top. Stored in a barn for most of its life. As rare as that is, I just couldn't restore it to its original look. It has new paint, Paprika Red - 1989 VW color. It has an all new Black deluxe interior with bucket seats and console floor shift. I kept the original 318 as it still runs very strong with only 130,000 miles. It now has electronic ignition, an Edelbrock performer intake, Edelbrock 4 bbl., TTI ceramic coated headers and 3" mandrel bent exhaust, an H pipe & Moroso spiral flow mufflers. It is obnoxiously loud at times but I love the sound, it produces a harmonic ringing tone at about 65mph! I added a new 727 A trans to a 8 3/4 rear, 742 case and 3.55 sure-grip. Added new polygraphite bushings all way round. It has Radial T/A's & Centerline wheels w/ 14 x 6 on front and 15 x 7" at rear. I opted for acceleration over highway speed. I closed in the cowl intake and antenna hole for a smooth hood appearance and added traditional hood stripes for the 69 hood but without the scoops. I also hand tinted the parking light lenses with a 2 tone translucent Red / Orange. All in all, a very fun car to drive and turns alot of heads.
